Hello, I am Michele. Thank you for researching who I am and what I do. I am a very down to earth, caring, warm person, who wants to help others to have their best life possible. Everyone has times when they feel they are carrying much on their shoulders, and I see anyone who has a major life change, to someone that just feels they may need to talk. Over the past 18 years, I have had the pleasure of working with diverse populations including Serious Mental Illness specializing in trauma and personality disorders, Addiction including those involved in the Criminal Justice System and Child Protective Services, LGBTQ, and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Four of those years were spent in a hospital Emergency Department, which focused primarily on crisis interventions. I earned my Master of Social Work Degree from University of Southern California with an emphasis on children and families and have certifications in Trauma Informed Care, American Society of Addiction Medicine, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

My family of origin was burdened with addiction and mental health. I currently have 40 years of sobriety and am intimately familiar with 12 Step, Christ-centered and Mindfulness aspects of recovery.
