New to Grow
I am a licensed psychotherapist and certified DBT therapist with nearly a decade of experience supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, trauma, and relationship concerns. I offer a thoughtful, collaborative approach that balances structure with compassion, helping clients feel both supported and empowered in their work. My integrative practice draws from DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic mindfulness, and relational therapy, alongside executive functioning skill development. I focus on practical, solution-oriented strategies while also honoring the deeper emotional and relational patterns that shape each person’s experience. I work to create a calm, validating therapeutic space where clients can build insight, emotional regulation, and sustainable change at a pace that feels respectful and achievable.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In your first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy at this point in your life. I’ll ask about your current concerns, relevant history, and what you hope to gain from therapy, while also making space for any immediate questions or needs you may have. We will begin to identify patterns that may be contributing to your challenges and discuss how my therapeutic approach may support your goals. The first session is collaborative and paced to your comfort level—there is no pressure to share more than you are ready to. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer sense of direction and next steps for our work together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My past client's have shared with me how grateful they are that we had the opportunity to work together and that their experiences have been "life changing". I have the ability to meet people where they are at and establish trusting relationships with clients. Whether you are just needing someone to work with for a short period of time or for a longer duration, I'm in it with you.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to work with adults who are seeking practical tools alongside deeper self-understanding. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or struggling with anxiety, mood symptoms, trauma-related responses, or relationship difficulties. I work well with individuals who value a collaborative, skills-based approach and are open to learning strategies for emotional regulation, communication, boundaries, and executive functioning, while also exploring the relational and somatic experiences that shape their day-to-day lives. My approach is especially well-suited for clients who want therapy to be structured yet flexible, grounded in evidence-based practices, and focused on meaningful, sustainable change rather than quick fixes.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I have been using Acceptance and Commitment therapy since I started working with clients in 2016 and have found that the insight and real life tools have the ability to transform lives. If you are struggling to find your way through difficult life situations, ACT really does have the power to empower people to live their best lives.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I am a certified DBT therapist and have used DBT since 2016 to help people with anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, and a range of life experiences, including trauma. DBT is a practical, solution-focused skills framework. I use this along with Executive Skill building in my practice.
Psychodynamic
Psychodynamic therapy helps us get to the root of the issue, the why. I use this theory not only to help clients gain context into their patterns of behavior, but also how they can learn and integrate their past.
Integrative
I consider myself a Holistic Therapist and look at the whole person's health and wellness when working with clients. I have many years of working with people who experience chronic health issues, undiagnosed neurodivergence, and High Sensitivity and found that an Integrative approach which is the ability to use multiple theories and therapeutic approaches have been extremely helpful in changing people's lives.
