Have you felt the pull to begin therapy but found the journey overwhelming or uncertain? You’re not alone — and you don’t have to walk it alone either. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and I create a compassionate space for women, teens, and young adults who are ready to heal, grow, and rediscover their identity. Many of my clients are high-functioning, faith-filled, and deeply tired — carrying the weight of life transitions, unhealed wounds, and emotional overwhelm. Using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Strengths-Based, and Solution-Focused modalities, I help my clients explore what’s holding them back and move toward a life of clarity, peace, and purpose.
Our first session is all about you! I break the ice by acknowledging the brave step you took to show up- and then I walk you through the intake process. I ask a lot of questions about what motivated you to start therapy, and I gather information about your background to help me best help you. I check in with you during this process to ensure that you are comfortable and understanding the "why" of the assessment process.
After working with people from a variety of backgrounds for the past 12 years, I have a gift of showing up for women in a way that helps them feel comfortable sharing their most vulnerable experiences. I listen without judgement and I utilize compassion, humor, and a "no sugarcoating" style of relating to my clients to work with them to develop insight, foster self-compassion, and have motivation to change. I encourage my clients to show up as themselves, and leave better than they came into the session.
I specialize in supporting those navigating the complexities of “adulting,” burnout, anxiety, infertility, and the desire for true restoration — not just coping. Whether you’re wrestling with the emotional toll of trying to conceive, grieving losses, or questioning your path, this is a space where your experience is honored.
I work with client to develop healthier thinking patterns. This looks like us exploring the connection between your thoughts, emotions and behaviors in situations and looking at ways you can feel better by changing your perspective and actions.
I incorporate Christian faith aspects as my clients request, and to their comfort level. This includes use of prayer, biblical wisdom, and exploration of how to develop healthy coping skills in alignment with Christian principles.
We work together to find solutions to your presenting concerns- this includes looking at strengths, resources, and previous successes with navigating challenges.
