Life can sometimes present us with tough situations that feel overwhelming. It’s completely normal to feel burdened when facing these challenges on your own. For many, the thought of opening up to friends and family can seem daunting. That’s why I’m here! I aim to create a warm and welcoming environment where you can comfortably share your story. I’m a licensed professional counselor based in Connecticut, with ten years of experience working with clients from all walks of life. I love connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and age groups. Being culturally sensitive is important to me, and I enjoy learning about my clients’ unique cultures. I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals tackle various challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship and family issues, and self-esteem struggles. My goal is to team up with you to build better coping skills for life’s ups and downs, helping you improve your overall well-being. My approach blends cognitive behavioral therapy with a person-centered touch, making our time together feel supportive and personal. I’m excited to take this journey with you!
My person-centered approach begins with an intake assessment to understand you better and develop goals tailored to your therapy needs.
I like to begin with a person-centered approach, focusing on the individual while treating them with dignity, respect, and compassion. I also utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, as it is an evidence-based treatment modality that I find very effective. Additionally, I use solution-focused therapy, behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing, depending on the individual and the specific issues they are facing.
Being completely present and bringing authenticity to every session. Each client is different and unique therefore no story is the same. I have strong work ethic and believe it is important to make people feel safe when they come to therapy.
