I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and practical support. I believe that everyone deserves a safe, nonjudgmental space where they feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. My approach is collaborative, solution-focused, and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you’re working through relationship concerns, preparing for marriage, adjusting to parenthood, managing anxiety or depression, coping with a major life transition, or navigating the emotional impact of a new medical diagnosis, I’m here to support you every step of the way. I have a special interest in working with couples, families, and individuals seeking to strengthen communication, build healthier relationships, and develop effective coping strategies. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, set realistic goals, and create a plan that helps you move toward the life you want to build. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing, growth, and lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, relationships, and the goals you hope to achieve. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what’s most important to you, and determine whether we’re a good fit. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. There is no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. By the end of our first session, we’ll begin identifying your strengths, discuss what you’d like to work on, and develop a plan that is personalized to your needs. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll work together to help you build the tools and confidence needed to create meaningful, lasting change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. I understand that reaching out for support can be difficult, so I strive to build a trusting, authentic relationship from the very beginning. My approach combines empathy with practical, solution-focused strategies. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model—every client’s experiences, values, and goals are unique, and I tailor treatment to meet those individual needs. I work collaboratively with clients to identify their strengths, develop effective coping skills, improve communication, and create realistic, achievable goals. What sets my approach apart is my focus on helping clients create meaningful change while recognizing the whole person. Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, anxiety, depression, parenting, or adjusting to a new medical diagnosis, I provide compassionate support along with evidence-based tools that you can apply in everyday life. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling heard, supported, and equipped with practical strategies that move you closer to the life you want to build.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with adults, couples, and families who are ready to invest in their personal growth and emotional well-being. My ideal clients may be navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, parenting, pregnancy or postpartum adjustments, or the emotional impact of a new medical diagnosis. I also enjoy supporting engaged and married couples who want to strengthen their relationship, improve communication, and build a healthy foundation for the future. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about their next steps. They may be seeking healthier coping strategies, stronger relationships, greater self-awareness, or a safe space to process life’s challenges. Whether you’re starting therapy for the first time or returning after a break, my goal is to meet you where you are, help you recognize your strengths, and work alongside you to create meaningful, lasting change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful thinking patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or other challenges. Once we recognize these patterns, we’ll work to replace them with healthier, more balanced ways of thinking and responding. CBT is a practical, goal-oriented approach that focuses on developing skills you can use in your everyday life. During our sessions, we’ll explore real-life situations, identify obstacles, and practice strategies to improve coping, communication, emotional regulation, and problem-solving. My goal is to help you build confidence, strengthen resilience, and create lasting changes that support your overall well-being.

Couples Counseling

In couples counseling, I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where both partners feel heard, respected, and understood. My role is not to take sides, but to help you work together to better understand one another, improve communication, and navigate challenges as a team. Together, we’ll identify unhealthy patterns, strengthen conflict-resolution skills, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional connection. Whether you’re preparing for marriage, adjusting to a new stage of life, recovering from a breach of trust, or feeling disconnected from your partner, we’ll work collaboratively to identify your relationship goals and develop practical strategies to help you achieve them. I integrate evidence-based approaches with solution-focused techniques to help couples build healthier communication, increase emotional intimacy, and create a stronger, more resilient relationship. My goal is to equip you with skills that continue to benefit your relationship long after therapy has ended.

Family Therapy

I approach family therapy by helping family members better understand one another, improve communication, and work together to create healthier relationships. Families often experience challenges during life transitions, parenting struggles, conflict, stress, or changes that affect the entire household. My goal is to create a safe, respectful environment where each person’s voice is heard and valued. During our sessions, we’ll explore the patterns that may be contributing to conflict or disconnection while identifying each family member’s strengths. Together, we’ll develop practical strategies to improve communication, strengthen problem-solving skills, establish healthy boundaries, and foster mutual understanding and support. I use evidence-based, family-centered interventions tailored to each family’s unique needs and goals. My role is to guide families toward healthier interactions, stronger relationships, and lasting changes that promote emotional well-being for every member of the family.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify their strengths, build on what’s already working, and make meaningful progress toward their goals. Rather than focusing primarily on problems or the past, this approach emphasizes practical solutions and the positive changes you want to see in your life. In our sessions, we’ll work together to clarify your goals, recognize your existing strengths and resources, and identify small, achievable steps that can lead to lasting change. I’ll ask thoughtful, goal-oriented questions that help you discover new perspectives, increase confidence, and develop practical strategies for overcoming challenges. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is collaborative, empowering, and future-focused. Whether you’re navigating relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, anxiety, or other challenges, my goal is to help you leave each session with greater clarity, hope, and actionable tools you can begin using right away.

Strength-Based

I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize and build upon the abilities, resilience, and resources they already possess. While therapy provides space to explore challenges, I also believe it’s equally important to identify what is working well and use those strengths as a foundation for growth and healing. In our work together, we’ll focus on your unique qualities, past successes, personal values, and support systems to help you overcome obstacles and achieve your goals. Rather than viewing you through the lens of your struggles, I see you as a whole person with the capacity for growth, resilience, and positive change. My role is to empower you by helping you develop confidence, increase self-awareness, and strengthen the skills you already have while learning new strategies to navigate life’s challenges. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan that supports lasting change and helps you move forward with greater confidence and hope.
