I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with experience serving adults and older adults across a wide range of mental health needs. I provide care for depression, anxiety, mood disorders, stress, and life-transition challenges, tailoring each treatment plan to meet the individual needs of my clients. My approach combines supportive therapy with evidence-based medication management, offering both compassion and structure to the healing process. Your first session with me is all about getting to know you. We'll talk about your current concerns, your history, and what brought you to seek support. I'll ask questions to better understand your symptoms, challenges, and goals, just as importantly, I'll give you the space to share what feels most important to you. Together, we'll start building a personalized treatment plan-which may include supportive therapy, medication management, or combination of both-tailored to your unique needs. You can expect a safe, judgment-free environment where you feel heard and respected. My goal in this first session is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and hopeful about the steps we'll take together toward better mental health and well being.
What makes me unique as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner is the combination of my clinical experise and my genuine compassion for the people I serve. My background in nursing and behavioral health has given me the opportunity to care for adults and older adults in a variety of settings, from primary care collaboration to outpatient psychiatry and supportive care for individuals facing complex health needs. These experiences have strengthened my ability to listen deeply, recognize each client's unique story, and create treatment plans that reflect not just diagnosis, but the whole person. I am especially skilled at working with clients who my feel hesitant about seeking help, creating a safe and welcoming environment where they feel understood and supported. My strength lies in blending supportive therapy with evidence-based medication management, which allows me to provide both the emotional encouragement and the practical treatment that clients need to move forward.
