Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my goal is to understand your story and what led you to seek therapy. I recognize that opening up to someone new can be challenging, so I aim to help you feel comfortable and confident in choosing to work with me. My hope is that each session leaves you feeling more at ease or with a new perspective on your challenges.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I truly believe I have a calling to help others in their time of need. Recognizing that each person is unique, I tailor my therapeutic approach to address their specific needs and goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in working with clients who are dealing with depression, anxiety, or less intensive emotional challenges. My approach is particularly well-suited for those who are looking for support in managing these areas and developing strategies for improvement.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This is the treatment method I have used the most in my career. I like to focus on the power of thought, and it affects on emotions and behaviors. When client's see the connection, it prompts them to pay more attention to those negative thought patterns.

Motivational Interviewing

I use this technique to assess the clients readiness to change. I meet the client where they are and empower them to move forward.

Strength-Based

I like to highlight strengths the client didn't even know they had and build upon those strengths. This also helps with client empowerment and self-efficacy.
