Before the initial session, clients will be asked to complete assessments. These results will help tailor treatment services to each client. The initial therapy session emphasizes introductions, confidentiality, rapport development, and a preliminary assessment of the client's presenting issues, history, and objectives. This meeting addresses both administrative matters, such as reviewing documentation and policies, and relational aspects, with the overarching goal of establishing a secure, trusting therapeutic alliance.
What truly distinguishes me is my ability to provide compassionate, personalized support to individuals with a variety of needs. With experience in both mental health and substance use disorders, I can connect with people in their current situation and help guide them along their personal paths. My greatest strength lies in this empathetic, holistic approach that ensures every client feels genuinely heard and supported.
I possess expertise in addressing mental health concerns, substance use, and behavioral issues. This background enables me to effectively support individuals whose needs span multiple domains—such as clients experiencing anxiety alongside addiction, depression contributing to avoidance, or stress manifesting in disruptive behaviors. My approach is well-suited for complex cases requiring a therapist comfortable navigating multifaceted challenge. If this aligns with your goal or goals, I am the person for you.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Practicing positive thinking before acting encourages a brighter outlook on life. This method is especially helpful for those dealing with harmful habits that lead to poor choices and few positive results, often unaware of the reasons behind them. With CBT-based interventions, I can assist individuals in understanding the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, thereby enhancing their self-awareness.
