Hi! My name is Monica Tapia, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) based in Texas. I received my master’s degree in counseling psychology from Texas A&M University and have been practicing for 15 years. I work with adults, teenagers, children, families, and couples. My main goal is to assist every individual become the best version of themselves while understanding that process and making it their own.
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

I have extensive experience working with clients facing challenges such as past and present trauma, sexual assault, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, grief, attachment disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, adjustment disorders, stress management, anger management, self-harm, and post-traumatic stress disorder. My ideal client is someone who is ready and motivated to make meaningful changes in their life by taking accountability for their thoughts and behaviors.
