From your very first session, you can expect to feel truly heard and understood in a safe, supportive space as we begin to clarify the challenges you’re facing and identify the goals that matter most to you. Together, we’ll explore meaningful insights, increase self-awareness, and outline simple, actionable steps that give you a sense of relief and direction right away. My warm, collaborative approach helps you feel comfortable while we begin practicing practical tools to manage stress, strengthen communication, and navigate life’s transitions with greater ease. You’ll leave the session with a deeper understanding of yourself, effective coping strategies to draw on, and the confidence to face life’s complexities feeling more grounded, empowered, and resilient.
My greatest strength as a therapist is creating a safe, supportive space where you can gain deeper insight into your challenges, develop greater self-awareness, and begin letting go of patterns that no longer serve you. I guide clients in building healthy coping tools to manage stress, overcome barriers, and move toward meaningful change. With extensive training across a range of evidence-based modalities—including EMDR, CBT, DBT, trauma-focused CBT, mindfulness and meditation, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy, I tailor each session to your unique needs and goals. My background includes working with individuals, couples, families, and groups across diverse settings such as private practice, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, partial hospitalization programs, crisis residential programs (teens & adults), dual diagnosis and addiction treatment centers, and intensive outpatient programs. This wide range of experience allows me to offer a flexible, compassionate approach that helps clients of all ages: from children and teens to adults, navigate life’s complexities, heal from past wounds, and cultivate resilience and growth.
I work with individuals who are navigating a wide range of life challenges, including grief and loss, anxiety, depression, regrets about the past, hurt from difficult experiences, worries about the future, and the stress that comes with major life transitions. I also support clients facing relationship struggles, work-related pressures, family stress, and the challenges of parenting. In addition, I specialize in helping those with ADHD by providing practical tools and systems to manage symptoms and create greater balance. My focus is on partnering with you to gain clarity, strengthen your resilience, and develop actionable steps that move you toward healthier relationship, with yourself, with others and a more fulfilling, grounded life.
I use a collaborative, goal-oriented approach rooted in CBT to help you identify and shift patterns of thinking and behavior that may be holding you back. Together, we’ll focus on practical tools and strategies that support meaningful, lasting change in your relationships and overall well-being.
Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I help clients build emotional resilience by teaching practical skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. This approach empowers you to manage intense emotions, navigate relationships more effectively, and respond to life’s challenges with greater balance and control.
Through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I help clients process and release distressing memories, reduce emotional reactivity, and rewire unhelpful beliefs rooted in past experiences. This evidence-based approach is especially effective for trauma, anxiety, and self-esteem, fostering deep emotional healing and lasting change.
I incorporate mindfulness-based therapy to help clients slow down, increase self-awareness, and develop a more grounded, compassionate relationship with their thoughts and emotions. This approach supports emotional regulation, reduces reactivity, and encourages a calm, present-centered mindset that promotes lasting inner balance.
