Since I started practicing in 2004, I have worked with adults and adolescents, individually and in groups. In my 20 years of experience, I have supported many people on their mental health journey to rediscover their strengths, renew their motivation and learn new skills to live life as they want. Seeking therapy can feel scary and the first step can be challenging, but you're making the right choice to take the first step. Whether you're dealing with feeling overwhelmed, experiencing new transitions, or are a survivor of cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. I have worked with trauma survivors, supported parents through parenting challenges, and helped many find new ways to manage stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions and relationship struggles. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together! I accept insurance plans as well as private pay clients. I am licensed both in GA and NJ.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

As a therapist, my priority is to create a safe space that provides for trust, information to be shared and a client/patient relationship to grow. I believe that some thoughts need to be challenged and I will walk along with you as this happens. Creating space for positive mental health is a journey and I would be honored to be part of yours.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I see clients both individually and in groups. In both formats, I utilize a variety of coping and relaxation techniques; including, progressive muscle relaxation, EFT and cognitive restructuring. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and am always engaged in new training to best meet the needs of my clients. I am a passionate learner and I am always expanding my knowledge base. Groups are very beneficial and safe. I will be facilitating a group called Coping with Change, an adult life transition virtual group. Transitions include retirement, a change in relationship, a change in your home or a new life role. This group will be starting soon on Wednesday evenings, and space is limited. Interested? Please reach out for more information.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Sessions are yours to explore and learn and I am the partner to help you do that. You will be in charge of identifying your goals and we will work together to reach your goals. Listening and interactive dialogues are important tools and such an important part of every session for every client I work with.
