Hi I'm Fabyonne, Our stressors, which can include hectic lives, and often overwhelming schedules, can keep us from living our very best life. Do you wish you could just check out of the matrix and reset if only for a moment? Well, I am here to help you do just that. I am both an LPC and MFT and for this reason, I utilize an eclectic mix of therapeutic modalities and resources to help you regain a sense of control when life feels chaotic. Granting you the space to verbally process all the answers (which by the way have been placed inside you) necessary to heal and deal with all life throws your way. My history includes a 25-year teaching career and a slow transition to a full-time therapist in the last 8 years. The classroom experience is where I learned the foundational structure and hands-on impact of counseling (as teachers are literally everything to everybody).

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we'll make short introductions, then delve into the factors that precipitated our meeting. This will allow us to create a strategic plan of action for our upcoming sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Providing a safe space for individuals to navigate traumatic experiences is one of my greatest areas of strength. My training is essential, however, this was also an innate ability and natural passion before pursuing education. The education added the formal structure and appropriate theory to what I loved. I also have a knack for seeing the positive in every situation no matter how grim. For this reason, I proudly share my title as 'Hope Dealer' despite how juvenile it may sound. As hope and rapport are two of the top reasons for the therapeutic efficacy I am thankful for this gift and don't take it lightly.

My treatment methods

Psychoeducation

As a retired school teacher, education is of utmost importance. I pride myself on educating clients on the why of what we're doing. I believe the conceptual understanding gives credence to the practice, increasing buy-in and leading to positive results.
