Monika Delyser
I’m Monika Delyser, PMHNP-BC, providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care to adults in California, Washington, and Arizona. I specialize in outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management for depression, anxiety, insomnia, stress, and mood disorders.
I work with many high-functioning individuals who feel overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, or stuck.
My approach focuses on individualized treatment, medication optimization, and overall mental well-being. I prescribe non-controlled medications and do not provide stimulant or benzodiazepine prescribing through telehealth.
First session
Our first session is focused on understanding you as a whole person—not simply a list of symptoms. We’ll discuss your current concerns, psychiatric and medical history, medications, sleep, stressors, daily functioning, and treatment goals. I’ll listen carefully, answer your questions, and clearly explain the treatment options that may be appropriate. Together, we’ll create a personalized and realistic plan with clear next steps. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, informed, and more hopeful about the path forward.
Strengths
I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and respected. I bring compassion, clinical experience, and a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to psychiatric care. I take time to listen, understand your concerns, and help you find treatment options that feel right for you. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and taking steps toward better mental health.
Ideal clients
I work best with adults seeking psychiatric evaluation and medication management for depression, anxiety, and other common mental health conditions appropriate for outpatient telehealth care. I focus on patients who are motivated to improve their mental health, open to medication treatment, and willing to attend regular follow-up appointments. My practice does not provide controlled-substance prescribing, standalone psychotherapy, or intensive psychiatric services.
Treatment methods
Compassion-Focused
I use a compassion-focused approach to help you develop a more supportive and less self-critical mindset. Many clients with anxiety, burnout, or depression struggle with harsh self-talk, which can worsen distress. Together, we work on recognizing these patterns and building more balanced, compassionate responses. I often integrate this with medication management and practical strategies, so you leave sessions with both insight and clear next steps.
