I attended Arizona State University and received my undergraduate degree in Psychology. After working in research, I went on to obtain my Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California with a concentration in Mental Health. I have also completed my 200-hour level certification from the Long Beach School of Yoga and I am registered with Yoga Alliance. I work with clients ages 0-65. I have experience in helping individuals with a range of life challenges and diagnosis with Anxiety and Depression being the most common. Most of my experience is working with children, adolescents, and families. I have also worked with children who have Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disabilities, and are on the Autism Spectrum.
In our first session together, we will discuss relevant history, your goals around treatment, and create a plan to help you meet and maintain your therapy goals.
I am a trauma focused, attachment and strength-based therapist and I often utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and Play Therapy. I provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in English or Spanish.
Through a holistic approach to therapy, I adapt to the needs of those with whom I provide therapy.

Claudia is really able to hear where my pain is originating and is giving me a different perspective on what is causing Me to be triggered also empowering me to use my tools so I can work through tough situations that I deal with on a daily basis.
