Welcome! My name is Brittany Neasman. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (SW#18348) located in the state of Florida. I provide individual counseling services for mental health concerns. I received my Bachelors degree from Florida International University in Psychology with a Minor in Religious Studies and a certification in Women and Gender Studies in 2015 and a Master of Social Work degree in 2018. I am certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (C-DBT), Trauma-Informed Yoga practice, and am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
During our first session, we will explore your therapy goals and review where you are currently in your healing journey. We will discuss the presenting challenges and explore the resources you have around and within you to utilize on your healing path. During this session, we will review safety and emergency situations and confirm contact information is updated. We will come up with a mutually agreed upon treatment plan and book additional sessions as needed.
I am skilled in a broad range of therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) , motivational interviewing, and the practice of mindfulness to assist you towards reaching your therapeutic goals. My belief is that through individualization of treatment and by fostering a safe therapeutic alliance with you I can assist you towards navigating the path of growth and healing.
I believe that my biggest strength is my ability to meet you right where you are in this moment of your journey; to help you navigate the path. I look forward to sitting with you as we work towards growth and healing.
