Hi! I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with many years of experience in mental health care. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based treatment to help clients feel better, function more effectively, and improve their overall quality of life. If depression, anxiety, ADHD, or racing thoughts are making daily life harder, you don't have to manage it alone. I provide specialized mental health care designed to understand your unique experiences, concerns, and goals. Together, we can identify the challenges you are facing and develop a personalized treatment approach that works for you. My experience includes working with a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other psychiatric concerns. Treatment may include medication management, supportive therapy, education, and ongoing guidance based on your individual needs. I believe that effective mental health care begins with listening. I take the time to understand each client's story, concerns, and treatment preferences. I work collaboratively with clients to develop practical, individualized treatment plans and regularly evaluate progress to ensure that care continues to meet their changing needs. Education is also an important part of my approach. I help clients and, when appropriate, their families better understand mental health conditions, treatment options, medications, and strategies for managing symptoms. My goal is to provide not only treatment, but also the knowledge and support needed to feel more confident and empowered in managing your mental health. Whether you are struggling with persistent sadness, excessive worry, difficulty focusing, mood changes, or racing thoughts, seeking help is an important first step. You deserve compassionate care, understanding, and support on your journey toward greater emotional well-being and a healthier, more fulfilling life.
Welcome! I’m glad you’ve taken this step toward better mental health. Your first telehealth appointment will be a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation designed to help me understand you as a whole person—not just the symptoms you are experiencing. During our first session, we’ll begin by discussing what brought you to treatment and the concerns that are affecting your daily life. I’ll ask questions about your current symptoms, mood, anxiety, sleep, energy, concentration, thought patterns, and overall functioning. Depending on your concerns, we may also discuss experiences such as racing thoughts, changes in mood, difficulty focusing, or feeling overwhelmed. I’ll also ask about your mental health history, previous treatments, medications, medical history, family history, substance use, relationships, and other factors that may be relevant to your overall well-being. These questions help me develop a complete picture of your situation and determine the most appropriate treatment options. We’ll also talk about your goals for treatment and what you hope to accomplish through care. If medication may be appropriate, I’ll explain potential options, benefits, risks, and alternatives, and we can make treatment decisions together. Therapy, lifestyle changes, referrals, or additional evaluations may also be discussed when appropriate. Because this is a telehealth appointment, please choose a private, quiet space where you feel comfortable speaking openly. Make sure you have a reliable internet connection and a device with a working camera and microphone. Most importantly, you do not need to prepare perfect answers. Just be yourself. There is no judgment, and you are welcome to ask questions at any time. My goal is to create a safe, respectful environment where we can work together to understand what you are experiencing and develop a personalized plan to support your mental health and overall quality of life.
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, one of my greatest strengths is my ability to connect with clients with empathy, compassion, and genuine understanding. I believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective mental health care. I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable expressing their concerns and sharing their experiences openly. I bring strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills to each session. I take the time to understand the whole person, not just the symptoms, so that I can develop thoughtful, individualized treatment plans that reflect each client's unique needs, circumstances, and goals. Another strength I bring is my ability to integrate medication management with therapeutic approaches and practical strategies to provide comprehensive, holistic care. I believe treatment should be collaborative, and I work closely with my clients to help them understand their options and participate actively in decisions about their care. I am also a strong listener and believe in meeting clients where they are. I recognize that every person’s journey is different, and I adapt my approach accordingly. My goal is not simply to manage symptoms, but to help clients develop greater insight, confidence, and the tools they need to move forward. Finally, I am committed to continuous learning and professional growth. I stay current with advances in psychiatric care and evidence-based treatment approaches so that I can provide safe, effective, and high-quality care. Ultimately, I want my clients to feel heard, respected, supported, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.
My ideal client is someone seeking compassionate, evidence-based mental health care in a safe, nonjudgmental environment. They may be experiencing challenges such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, stress-related disorders, psychotic disorders, schizophrenia, eating disorders, or other mental health conditions that affect their daily life, relationships, or overall well-being. Whether they are seeking help for the first time or have been managing their condition for years, my clients are motivated to better understand themselves, improve their quality of life, and develop healthier coping strategies. I work with individuals who value a collaborative treatment approach, where they feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care. My goal is to provide personalized, comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management when appropriate, and ongoing support tailored to each individual's unique needs. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and am committed to helping them achieve emotional stability, resilience, and lasting mental wellness.

By using Humanistic therapy techniques,I always tailor an approach to each individual client, taking into account their unique needs, preferences, and cultural background. The goal is to help my clients enhance their self-awareness, personal growth, and overall well-being by fostering a deeper understanding and acceptance of themselves.
In my psychiatric practice, I apply psychoeducation by providing patients and their families with clear, individualized information about mental health conditions, symptoms, medications, treatment options, coping strategies, and relapse prevention. I encourage questions, correct misconceptions, promote informed decision-making and treatment adherence, and empower patients to better understand and manage their mental health and overall well-being.
I apply solution-focused brief treatment by helping patients identify their strengths, resources, and existing coping skills while focusing on practical solutions rather than solely on problems. I work collaboratively with patients to establish achievable goals, recognize progress, explore what is already working, and develop small, meaningful steps toward positive change and improved mental health.

He was amazing and made me feel comfortable and safe and explained things to me so I understood things and didn’t just brush me off or make me feel like I’m a bad person for trying to get my mental health under control
