I will like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as a licensed mental health therapist. I want to tell you a little about myself and my fieldwork experiences. I worked in this field for several years, along with various training, to assist clients in different areas. In the last several years, I worked in a mental health hospital with adolescents, substance abuse, and crisis intervention in various settings. People with trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia were some of the people I helped at work. I worked with individuals on career choices to increase their career paths to maximize success. I support individuals in their desire to become independent, and I do this by helping them identify their true potential.
My vision is to build a brighter future for individuals of any age bracket by helping them build inner skills that foster self-esteem, happiness, resilience, and a sense of community. My mission is to aid those that suffer from trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia, in addition to other mental health issues, by alleviating their mental and emotional distress. I aim to treat them, help them maximize their success, and identify their true potential.
My strength is working with clients who suffer from trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.
Individuals initially hesitant to seek treatment may succeed with Motivational Interviewing (MI), a counseling method designed to help clients overcome ambivalence and resistance to change. MI can benefit users by assisting them in accepting responsibility for their own lives and the outcomes of their behaviors. Additionally, clients can develop confidence and faith in themselves through MI, and learn to make better decisions. By visualizing a future free of substance misuse and mental health issues, clients can better understand the potential outcomes of their desired life changes with the support of MI. Furthermore, MI can aid in lowering the likelihood of relapse and assist clients in finding new motivations to maintain sobriety when they feel stuck in their long-term recovery.
