First session
Our sessions will delve into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a deeply accepting and non-judgmental way. I understand that seeking help for mental health issues can be daunting, but I am here to provide a safe and compassionate space to explore your emotions and work toward healing and living your life to its fullest potential.
Strengths
Over the past five years as a Psych APRN, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you identify the root cause of your challenges and help you create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
Ideal clients
My background and experience have centered on working with adult patients dealing with various psychiatric disorders. I adopt a client-centered approach, where your input is highly valued. I believe in the power of collaboration, and I will work with you to create a treatment regimen that is not only effective but also sustainable, ensuring long-term recovery.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I used Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help my patients become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking, view challenging situations more clearly, and respond to them more effectively.
Christian Counseling
My counseling is a theologically and psychologically approach providing spiritual, emotional, and behavioral guidance based on the Word of God. I help my clients overcome their pain and challenges through counseling techniques and the Word of God. I provide my clients with the resources necessary to help them grow their relationship with God and the tools needed to overcome challenges.
Compassion-Focused
I enjoyed using the Compassion-focused therapy (CFT) especially with my patients who are struggling with shame and self-criticism, often resulting from early experiences of abuse or neglect. I teach my clients to cultivate the skills of self-compassion and other-oriented compassion, which are thought to help regulate mood and lead to feelings of safety, self-acceptance, and comfort to allow them to live life to their full potential
