I was born and raised in Texas and still hold a deep appreciation for Texas summer nights and autumn days. I grew up in a blended family that included my mother, grandparents, biological brother, and many foster siblings—an upbringing that was dynamic, formative, and rich with lived experience. These early experiences shaped my perspective and deepened my understanding of diverse family systems, identities, and relational dynamics. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and Certified Sex Therapist Supervisor (CST-S). I earned my Doctorate of Education in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, a Master of Education in Counseling and Human Development from Hardin-Simmons University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Abilene Christian University. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy reading paranormal fiction (i.e. vampires, werewolves, fae, etc.), exploring music and movement through various forms of dance and fitness, experimenting with new cuisines, and traveling. I am also one-third of The RePsychled Podcast, a platform dedicated to increasing mental health awareness and education within minority communities in an accessible and culturally responsive way.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session serves as an introduction to what is bringing you to therapy and how you would like to use this space. It allows me to hear your firsthand experiences while we collaboratively begin identifying goals, expectations, and the level of engagement needed for meaningful therapeutic work.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my ability to create a grounded, intentional space where clients can be fully themselves while also being supported in doing meaningful, accountable healing work. I balance emotional safety with insight, reflection, and forward movement.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve women of color and LGBTQIA+ individuals seeking therapy that supports emotional clarity, identity integration, and relational growth. My work is especially well suited for clients navigating intimacy concerns, sexual health, relationship dynamics, and the intersection of culture, identity, and self-worth, who are ready to engage thoughtfully and actively in the therapeutic process.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My theoretical approach integrates Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and Logotherapy, with an emphasis on addressing cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and behavioral patterns. This work supports clients in developing greater clarity, meaning, and intentionality in how they engage with themselves and their lives.

Sex Therapy

Sex therapy offers additional tools, skills, and experiential exercises to support clients in addressing intimacy and sexual health concerns. I integrate sex therapy as a complement to cognitive-based approaches, allowing for a more comprehensive and responsive treatment process tailored to each client’s needs.

I've been with Dr. Nïchelle Wall for years. She is direct, empowering, authentic, open-minded, goal/solution oriented, challenging, and humorous. I feel supported in my mental processing. She never judges. You will feel convicted to face yourself and do the work. I appreciate Dr. Nïchelle Wall and I am recognizing positive growth and small changes in mind set leading to better habits mentally, physically and spiritually. I always have some things to think about when leaving sessions.

She is very direct and I need that. Calls me out on my BS but is never rude about it at all.
