The initial consultation typically lasts about 60 minutes. It begins with a brief introduction of myself and a warm welcome to the practice. This is followed by a discussion of the reasons for the visit and a comprehensive review of the patient’s history, including medical, mental health, family, medication, social, and surgical backgrounds.
