I’m Nydia, a licensed clinical social worker with 15 years of experience. I offer a warm, affirming space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. My compassionate, collaborative approach helps people explore their emotions, recognize their strengths, heal old wounds, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for them. Together, we build self-awareness, confidence, balance, and hope.
First session
Our first session is a relaxed opportunity for us to get to know each other. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and any challenges currently affecting you. I’ll also explain my approach, answer your questions, and collaborate with you on initial goals. You’re welcome to share at your own pace—there is no pressure to tell your entire story at once.

My approach balances compassionate listening with thoughtful challenges that help clients recognize patterns and move toward change. I create space for every part of a client’s experience while helping them build on their strengths, deepen self-trust, and develop practical tools for everyday life.
Ideal clients
An ideal client feels stuck, hurt, or unsure and wants help with stress, fear, grief, low mood, or life change. They are open to a warm, honest space where all parts of them are met with care. They want to know their needs, trust their voice, heal old pain, and make clear shifts that bring more peace, ease, and joy.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients understand the different “parts” of themselves with curiosity and compassion. Together, we explore how these parts developed to protect them, heal underlying emotional wounds, and build greater self-awareness, confidence, and emotional balance.
