Hi, I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with experience supporting individuals through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD. I provide a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to psychiatric care that includes medication management and support.

With a solid foundation in both psychopharmacology and supportive therapy, I aim to provide care that is both clinically sound and personally meaningful.

My goal is to create a safe and respectful space where you feel heard and empowered in your mental health journey.

First session

In our first session, you can expect a safe, judgment-free space to share your story and what brought you to seek support. We’ll go over your mental health history, current symptoms, medical background, and treatment goals. I’ll take the time to listen carefully, answer your questions, and begin building a personalized treatment plan based on your comfort and needs.

Strengths

My greatest strengths as a provider are my ability to listen without judgment, build strong therapeutic relationships, and tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs. I bring a calm, compassionate presence to my sessions and focus on making clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. With a solid foundation in both psychopharmacology and supportive therapy, I aim to provide care that is both clinically sound and personally meaningful.

Ideal clients

I am best positioned to serve children, adolescents, adults, and veterans who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and ADHD. I especially connect with clients who are seeking a compassionate, down-to-earth provider who values collaboration and personalized care. Whether you're starting mental health treatment for the first time or looking for a fresh perspective, I’m here to support you with practical, evidence-based solutions. Currently, I am not prescribing controlled medications.

Treatment methods

Supportive

As a PMHNP, I use supportive therapy to validate my patients’ feelings, reinforce their coping strategies, and help them feel heard and understood. It allows me to build trust and provide emotional stability, especially during times of crisis or while managing medications.

Motivational Interviewing

I use motivational interviewing to help patients explore and resolve ambivalence about change by guiding them to express their own reasons for wanting to improve. This collaborative, nonjudgmental approach supports autonomy and builds motivation from within.
