New to Grow
As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, I built this practice with a clear intention: to create a space where you truly belong. I specialize in working with introverts, women, and people of color — walking alongside clients who are navigating anxiety, self-esteem, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and burnout. These aren't just clinical concerns to me. As a Black woman and introvert who has personally moved through anxiety, I know this from person experience. I see you, and I understand more than you might expect. My approach to individual therapy is collaborative, educational, and interactive. I don't position myself as the expert on your life — you are. What I offer is a warm, safe, and empowering space for you to process your experiences, explore new perspectives, and build a practical plan that actually fits your life. Together, we'll work toward the clarity, confidence, and peace you deserve.
I'm so glad you're here and taking this step. Before we begin, I'd love to connect with you through a free 15-minute consultation call — this is a chance for us to get a feel for one another and make sure we're a great fit. Once you've scheduled with me, I'll reach out to get that call started. Once we decide to work together, we will proceed with scheduling our first video session, which I call this your "Information Gathering Session" — a dedicated space where I'm fully present to hear your story. I'll listen openly and ask thoughtful questions to better understand what's brought you to therapy, what matters most to you, and what goals you'd like to work toward. This session is all about you, and I want to leave it with a clear picture of how I can best support your journey.
After we've had a few sessions together, I'll create something just for you — a personalized "Plan of Care." Think of it as your roadmap for our work together. It outlines what we'll focus on in each session and gives you a realistic timeframe for reaching your short-term goals, so you always have a sense of direction and progress. And as you grow, your plan grows with you. Once you've met your initial goals and feel ready to go deeper, your Plan of Care can be updated to reflect the next chapter of your journey.
I specialize in supporting introverted women and people of color who are navigating anxiety, self-esteem, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and burnout — and who are ready to finally feel like themselves again. In our work together, you'll learn to quiet self-doubt, set boundaries without guilt, show up confidently, and honor your introversion instead of fighting it. You'll leave sessions feeling more grounded, more self-aware, and equipped with real, practical tools you can use every day. **You might be the right fit if...** You're looking for a therapist who will slow down, truly listen, and understand your story before jumping to solutions. You're open to gaining both deeper self-insight and practical day-to-day skills to boost your confidence and ease your anxiety. And you're ready to show up consistently. You understand that therapy is a process, and you're committed to attending sessions regularly so you can experience the full benefit of the work we do together.

I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
The primary approach I use is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) — and it's been truly transformative for my clients. CBT is rooted in a simple but powerful idea: your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are deeply connected. When we can understand how they influence one another, we gain the ability to shift them. Together, we'll work to identify the negative automatic thoughts that may be fueling your anxiety, stress, or low self-esteem — and gently challenge the core beliefs that have been quietly shaping your world. This isn't about positive thinking or quick fixes. It's about building real awareness and practical tools that help you think more clearly, feel more at ease, and move through life with greater confidence.
Integrative
While CBT is my foundation, I believe that great therapy is never one-size-fits-all. Every client brings a unique story, and I stay flexible and responsive to what you need most in any given season of our work together. Depending on where you are and what's coming up for you, I may weave in a range of other approaches, including: Solution-Focused Brief Therapy — zeroing in on your strengths and what's already working; Somatic Approaches — tuning into how your body holds and carries stress; Mindfulness-Based Techniques — building present-moment awareness and calm; Psychoeducation — helping you understand the "why" behind what you're experiencing; Attachment-Based Therapy — exploring how early relationships shape your patterns today; Compassion-Focused Therapy — cultivating kindness toward yourself, not just others & Positive Psychology — identifying and building on your innate strengths. Think of my approach as a toolbox — thoughtfully curated and adapted to support you, wherever you are.
