Welcome! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 12 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s emotional and relational challenges. I often work with clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship or family conflict, parenting or postpartum concerns, immigration stress, body image struggles, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and existential questioning. I believe therapy should be a safe and supportive space where you can explore your emotions, understand your experiences, and feel truly heard. My work is guided by a feminist, social justice, and humanistic perspective, which means I aim to honor your unique story while recognizing the broader systems and experiences that shape our lives. In our work together, we may explore past experiences—such as childhood and family dynamics—to better understand patterns that still affect you today. We will also focus on practical tools and strategies to help you navigate current challenges. I often incorporate evidence-based approaches like mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Therapy can be challenging, and it takes courage to say, “I need help.” I strive to meet every client with openness, compassion, and a nonjudgmental perspective. I also believe that moments of humor and lightness can be an important part of the healing process. My goal is to walk alongside you as you move through difficult moments and towards greater self-understanding and authenticity.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what is bringing you to therapy and what challenges you’ve been facing. We’ll also talk about what you hope to gain from therapy and explore possible goals for our work together. This first meeting is a chance for us to begin building a comfortable and trusting space. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting—just showing up is a meaningful first step.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my deep empathy and respect for each person’s lived experience. I strive to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and safe to be yourself. At the same time, I will gently challenge patterns or beliefs that may be holding you back. Together, we’ll explore practical strategies for change while also honoring your own insight, resilience, and inner wisdom. I believe that each person already holds important knowledge about themselves, and therapy can help bring that awareness forward.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected—from themselves, their goals, or the people around them. They often hold themselves to very high standards, experience persistent self-doubt, or find it difficult to regulate emotions and feel at ease in their daily lives. I work particularly well with people who are motivated for change but may not yet have the tools or clarity to move forward. Often my clients are seeking greater self-understanding, emotional resilience, and more balanced, compassionate ways of relating to themselves and others. Together, we can focus on building practical coping strategies, processing past experiences, and creating meaningful, sustainable change so you can feel more grounded, confident, and connected in your life.
