First session
On the first appointment, we will take the time needed for a thorough assessment of your mental health history, as well as social, and medical history. We will carefully review your symptoms and confirm an accurate diagnosis. I will make recommendations for treatment, which includes the next step if the plan does not work out due to side effects or no response to treatment. We will work together as a team to help you achieve optimal mental health.
Strengths
Helping people is what motivates me! Caring is at the center of my approach, because I love people, and I am non-judgmental. I listen to my patients. I am extremely skillful and experienced in the area of psychiatry and medication management. I make myself available to my patients between appointments. I receive many references consistently by word of mouth because of my dedication and commitment to help my patients.
Ideal clients
I have experience in treating ages from 5 to 75 years old. My largest client base are young people starting their journey in life. I treat a large number of college students, professionals, as well as teenagers and children. I find that anxiety panic attacks are wild spread problems for people in all age groups, and have been successful in recommending specific treatments to managed. ADHD is also a common problem in today's society, an area that I also am experienced in tailoring the most appropriate treatment base on the individual severity of functional impairment. I am big on using mindfulness therapy and how to apply it in everyday coping. I am available to provide brief spiritual counseling only at the client request
