My name is Roger Hartline and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with several years of experience working with adults with a variety of behavioral health concerns. I have history working with older adults, adults, and the LGBTQ+ population in a group therapy setting as well as an individual setting. My hope is to effectively help clients on symptom management, developing coping strategy plans, and establishing a healthier relationship with themselves.
A client can expect in the first session to work with me in establishing a trusting, therapeutic bond that will help us navigate their behavioral health concerns.
I am an energetic and driven provider who loves to connect with people. I always freely share my joy and care to clients in hopes that it will assist them along their behavioral health journey.
I work with clients utilizing fundamental CBT concepts of identifying the thought-emotion-behavior connection, identifying cognitive distortions, and establishing healthy coping strategy plans. I have attended training specifically to utilize CBT with anxiety and OCD symptoms, but have experience using CBT concepts with clients with depression, anxiety, and more.
I have attended training for DBT and utilized DBT fundamentals to help clients practice better mindfulness, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance within a group setting and individual setting.
