Do you feel as though you are living in a constant state of unhappiness—waking each day feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from joy? Perhaps you find yourself functioning on the outside while struggling internally, unsure of how to break free from stress, anxiety, unresolved trauma, or persistent self-doubt. If so, you are not alone—and you do not have to navigate it alone. Knows No Face LLC is a mental health and wellness counseling and consulting practice committed to supporting individuals, families, and communities on their journey toward emotional healing and personal growth. Founded by Rashida Henry, a Licensed Professional Counselor, author, and speaker, the company was created from a deep, personal commitment to increasing mental health awareness and accessibility—particularly within urban communities where stigma, systemic barriers, and limited resources often prevent individuals from seeking support. Through counseling, education, and community engagement, Knows No Face LLC works to normalize conversations around mental health, empower individuals with practical tools for resilience, and foster environments where healing is not only possible but sustainable. The mission is rooted in compassion, cultural responsiveness, and a belief that wellness truly knows no face—it transcends background, circumstance, and identity. At its core, the practice exists to help people move from surviving to thriving.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our initial session, we will begin with brief introductions and a review of the informed consent process, including confidentiality, expectations, and goals for treatment. From there, we will explore in greater depth the specific concerns that have brought you to counseling, including the duration, intensity, and impact of these challenges on your daily functioning, relationships, and overall well-being. I will gather relevant background information related to your personal history, coping strategies, strengths, support systems, and any previous treatment experiences. This comprehensive assessment process allows me to gain a holistic understanding of your needs and identify patterns that may be contributing to your current distress. Based on this information, we will collaboratively develop a personalized treatment plan with clear, measurable goals to guide our work together in subsequent sessions.
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
Through individual counseling and support groups Knows No Face assists their clients in developing insight into that which is holding them back. Individual psychotherapy sessions are designed to assist clients in identifying problematic behaviors, thoughts and feelings that may be hindering them from achieving balance and connecting with their purpose in life. If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress or life's transitions we can assist. My approaches involve Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Solution Focused Therapy Brief (SFBT). These individual sessions will assist you with gaining clarity on the next stage in your career, increase daily productivity and improve overall mental well-being. One on one counseling is being offered via telehealth at this time. Our support groups are designed to assist millennials in developing effective communication skills and provides a safe place to express their challenges. These support groups allow individuals to develop self-awareness with a focus on educating, empowering and enhancing one's self. Through discussion, reflection and wellness planning individuals are connected with ways to become more proactive and less reactive on their journey of healing. Group sessions take place over a six week period and will be offered virtually. Please stay tuned for group openings throughout the year.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Our mission is to provide comprehensive counseling services, psychoeducation, and accessible community-based resources that support the overall mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being of individuals and families. We are committed to fostering empowerment by equipping clients and community members with practical tools, evidence-based knowledge, and culturally responsive support that strengthens self-awareness, resilience, and personal agency. Central to our work is the promotion of respect, acceptance, and compassion for individuals experiencing diverse mental health conditions and emotional challenges. We strive to normalize conversations surrounding mental health by increasing understanding of individual differences, lived experiences, and the social determinants that influence psychological well-being. Through intentional education and advocacy, we work to reduce stigma rooted in misinformation, fear, and systemic inequities. Additionally, our mission includes addressing and decreasing disparities between mental health care and other comparable health-related services that significantly impact daily functioning. We advocate for mental health to be regarded with the same urgency, accessibility, and integration as physical health, recognizing that emotional wellness is foundational to productivity, relationships, academic success, and overall quality of life. By bridging gaps in awareness, access, and culturally competent care, we aim to create sustainable pathways toward holistic wellness within the communities we serve.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I have a strong clinical interest in working with young professionals who are navigating the developmental and psychological demands of the first several years of their careers. This transitional period is often marked by identity formation, performance pressures, financial responsibility, and increased expectations for independence. Many of my clients present as highly motivated and achievement-oriented individuals who possess clear aspirations for growth and success, yet report feeling ill-equipped with the coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and boundary-setting tools necessary to actualize those goals. Clinically, these clients frequently experience symptoms of anxiety, imposter phenomenon, perfectionism, decision paralysis, and chronic self-doubt. They may report feeling “stuck” despite objective markers of success, overwhelmed by workplace dynamics, or uncertain about long-term career direction. Presenting concerns often include difficulty managing stress, fear of failure, challenges with assertive communication, burnout, and a persistent sense of inadequacy when comparing themselves to peers. My therapeutic approach focuses on strengthening self-efficacy, clarifying values, and developing practical skills for emotional regulation, cognitive restructuring, and effective interpersonal communication. Through a collaborative process, we work to identify unhelpful thought patterns, build resilience, and cultivate confidence so that clients can move from a state of overwhelm and stagnation toward purposeful, values-aligned career development and overall psychological well-being.
