I am a licensed therapist with over 8 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families on their journey toward healing, understanding and growth. My work is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and a deep commitment to helping people navigate life’s challenges and relationships. Much of my clinical background comes from years spent in outpatient treatment settings specializing in depression, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, and substance use issues. I have had the privilege of working extensively with LGBTQ+ individuals and communities, creating a safe and affirming space for clients to explore identity, relationships, and emotional wellbeing.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, my priority is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported. There’s no pressure to have all the answers or to know exactly where to begin—just come as you are. We’ll start by exploring what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping for. I’ll listen with care and curiosity, without judgment. You might find yourself sharing thoughts or feelings you haven’t spoken out loud before. That’s okay. This is a space where all emotions are welcome. There is nothing that is too much or too small. All experiences, thoughts and emotions deserve their time and space. Emotion-Focused Therapy is grounded in the belief that our emotions are meaningful and wise—even the ones that feel confusing or overwhelming. In our work, we’ll gently begin to make sense of your emotional world, uncovering patterns and possibilities for healing and change. This first session is just the beginning. My hope is that you leave feeling a little more connected—to yourself, to your feelings, and to the possibility that things can shift.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring an open, grounded presence to my work as a therapist. Clients often tell me they feel deeply seen and understood in our sessions—which is one of the greatest privileges of this work. I strive to meet each person with authenticity and respect, holding space for the full range of human experience without judgment. I believe in the power of being truly heard, and I’m here to validate your feelings, honor your perspective, and gently guide you toward greater self-understanding and healing. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, rooted in the belief that meaningful change happens when we feel safe enough to show up as we are.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with adults and adolescents, and I offer therapy for individuals, couples, and families. Whether you’re seeking support for emotional struggles, relationship issues, or major life transitions, I strive to provide a compassionate and collaborative environment where meaningful change can happen.

My treatment methods

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

My approach is deeply influenced by my advanced training in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), a model that helps clients identify and understand their attachment styles and how these patterns shape emotional experiences, relationships, and connections with others.
