Hi! I'm Jill and I've been counseling with individuals to empower them and support them in becoming the best version of themselves for the past 20 years. I have the ability to start where the client is and build rapport easily. I have a passion for helping those who are in a place to begin the process of understanding why they may be struggling in life and willing to make the changes needed to feel more in control of their emotions and behaviors.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked with clients over the past 20+ years I've developed the ability to build a genuine rapport with my clients and build trust with them in order to identify the root cause of their challenges and create practical coping skills to respond to those life situations.
I love working with young adults who are trying to figure out their purpose, why they may feel overwhelmed with anxiety and/or depression and in need of finding practical coping skills. I'm a great fit for a client that is ready to put themselves first and know that counseling is an essential part of self-care.
I have used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for many years because it is an effective psychotherapy that helps my clients manage a wide range of issues. CBT helps you change your negative thoughts to improve your mood and relationships.

Jill is the absolute best-- I couldn't recommend her more highly. She is a great listener, warm, genuine, and really good at working with you to process whatever it is that has brought you to therapy. I feel empowered knowing she's in my corner and there to help me when I need her.

I've had many therapists throughout the years Jill has made me feel very comfortable and heard during our sessions. She makes it easy to open up and not feel judged! She gives me a safe space to talk freely about what is wrong. I've felt comfortable every session we've had, she really does make it a safe space with her!
