Welcome! My name is Victoria. I am a lover of juicing, golden doodles, Jesus, expressive arts, and all things outdoors. I have been a school-based therapist for the past 6 years in working with students Kindergarten through 12th grade along with providing support to parents and teachers. Raising kids this day and age is not an easy task and it truly does take a village!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I just want you to know that the main goal is to really get to know each other. It’s all about building a therapeutic relationship where you feel comfortable and safe enough to share whatever’s on your mind. I want you to feel heard and understood from the start—no pressure, just a space where you can be yourself. We’ll chat about what brought you here, what’s been going on in your life, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. I’m really interested in learning about you as a person—your strengths, what matters to you, and what’s been working (or not working) for you in the past. Together, we’ll figure out what kind of approach makes the most sense for you, based on who you are and what you need.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my biggest strengths as a provider is establishing strong, trusting therapeutic relationships with my clients. In working within the public school setting I have had many scared parents, teachers, and students enter into my office and left feeling relieved because I took the time to meet them where they were at and created a safe space for them to open up.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with: + Girls ages 6 - 17 who ask the what ifs, don't want to go to school, complain of headaches/tummy aches, can't concentrate or focus, think "I am not good enough", feel like they have to do everything right or they are letting themselves or their family down, play the comparison game, and always worry about the future + Teachers who feel over worked/under appreciated, are burned out, wait in their car until they have to go in, and survive on coffee just to get through the day I want you to know that you matter and am honored to create a safe space for healing to take place.

My treatment methods

Faith based therapy

I offer counseling services that integrate Christian values for clients who desire faith-based support. I incorporate prayer, Scripture, and spiritual reflection as appropriate—always respecting the client’s comfort level and preferences. Participation in faith-based practices is entirely voluntary, and I welcome clients from all backgrounds, regardless of their spiritual beliefs.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Are you tired of dealing with automatic negative thoughts? Are you frustrated with allowing your fears to control you? With CBT, we will work together to explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors—so you can better understand and change the patterns that are holding you back.

Strength-Based

In our work together, I focus on what’s right with you—not just what’s hard. I believe everyone has strengths, even during your most difficult times. My goal is to help you recognize and build on the skills, values, and inner resources you already have. We'll look at past successes, personal strengths, and what matters most to you, so you feel more confident and capable of creating the changes you want. This approach is all about hope, empowerment, and working together in a way that values your unique story.

Narrative

Narrative therapy is a way of helping you explore and reshape the stories you tell about your life. It’s based on the idea that the way you see and talk about your experiences can have a big impact on how you feel and act. In this therapy, the focus is not on "fixing" you, but on helping you understand the challenges you're facing from a fresh perspective. Rather than seeing yourself as the problem, narrative therapy helps you separate the issues you’re dealing with (like anxiety, depression, or relationship problems) from who you are as a person. By doing this, you can begin to feel more in control and empowered in your life.
