About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about walking alongside children, teens, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges. Whether you are healing from trauma, coping with anxiety or depression, or moving through a major life transition, I provide a safe and supportive space where you don’t have to go through it alone. Together, we’ll explore your story, build on your strengths, and create a path toward growth, healing, and lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know one another and creating a safe, comfortable space for you to share your story. I’ll ask questions to understand your background, current challenges, and goals for therapy. We’ll discuss what approaches may work best for you and begin building a plan together. My priority is to ensure you feel heard, supported, and confident about the process moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths include creating a warm, nonjudgmental environment and using evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, TF-CBT, DBT skills, mindfulness, and play therapy techniques. I specialize in trauma-focused work and have helped many clients process difficult experiences while building resilience and healthier coping strategies. With experience as both a therapist and clinical supervisor, I bring depth, flexibility, and compassion to each session. Clients often tell me they appreciate how I balance professionalism with genuine care, helping them feel safe while also making progress toward their goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are motivated to break cycles, heal from trauma, and strengthen their emotional well-being. Many of my clients struggle with stress, anxiety, depression, or the lasting effects of difficult life experiences. Some are seeking healthier relationships, while others want to feel more grounded, confident, and connected to themselves. My ideal clients are open to exploring new strategies, willing to be gently challenged, and committed to creating meaningful change in their lives.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I am EMDR certified and use this evidence-based approach to help clients process and heal from traumatic experiences. In sessions, I guide clients through bilateral stimulation techniques, such as eye movements or tapping, while they safely revisit distressing memories. This process helps reduce the emotional charge of those memories and allows clients to create new, healthier beliefs about themselves. I often integrate EMDR with other supportive approaches like mindfulness, grounding skills, and cognitive restructuring to ensure that clients feel empowered and in control throughout the healing journey.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients identify and change unhelpful thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be keeping them stuck. Together, we explore patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, or stress and practice healthier ways of thinking and coping. I often incorporate practical tools, such as thought records, behavior experiments, and skill-building exercises, so clients can apply what they learn in therapy to everyday life.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In mindfulness-based work, I help clients learn to slow down, become more aware of their thoughts and feelings, and respond to stress with calmness rather than reactivity. Through practices such as grounding techniques, mindful breathing, and guided reflection, clients develop greater self-awareness and emotional balance. This approach is especially helpful for managing anxiety, stress, and trauma responses while fostering a deeper sense of peace and self-compassion.

Play Therapy

As a clinician trained in play therapy, I use play as a powerful tool to help children express emotions, build coping skills, and process difficult experiences in ways that feel natural to them. Play allows children to communicate symbolically when they may not have the words to describe how they feel. I create a safe and supportive environment where children can explore their thoughts and experiences through games, art, and imaginative activities, while parents receive guidance to support growth and healing at home.
