My clients mean everything to me and I'm committed to helping them achieve their goals and make positive changes in their lives. Whether you're a stressed-out teenager or an adult struggling with tough issues, I'm here to help. I believe that empathy, support, and encouragement are key ingredients to fostering healing and growth. I'm here to offer you a non-judgmental and safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings. So if you're looking for a therapist who will truly listen and guide you toward a brighter future, let's connect! Together, we can work towards discovering new paths, having a more fulfilling and meaningful life, and finding joy in the journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we will start with getting to know each other and what brings you into therapy. We will discuss goals together that you would like to reach while participating in therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I feel as a provider I take time to really hear my clients and what they want/need from therapy. I have been told that I created a very calm and safe environment in my office and also online!

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with clients who have ADHD! My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality or struggle to use the tools they have. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, and unmotivated in their lives. I work well with those with mood disorders and anxiety!

Amber is a great provider and I looked forward to our appointments each week. I would still see her but I’m moving to another state. She is great to talk to and was a big help in improving my mental health

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize this method to help clients achieve their goals and live their best life as it is generally highly successful in helping patients reflect and reframe their thought processes.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is a type of CBT that is often used when treating patients with personality disorders, such as Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and interpersonal conflicts. DBT can be useful in treating mood disorders and suicidal ideation as well as for changing behavioral patterns.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

It is a short-term goal-focused evidence-based therapeutic approach to help clients accomplish their goals and needs.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing helps people resolve ambivalent feelings and insecurities to find the internal motivation they need to change their behavior. It is practical and empathetic and takes into consideration how difficult it is to make life changes.

Faith based therapy

As a Christian I know it is important for someone who has religious beliefs to be able to discuss them in a safe environment with someone who can use the Word in therapy to assist in the therapeutic process.
