Jason de Luisa
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing telehealth psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adults across Florida. I help adults struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders develop practical, effective treatment plans that improve daily functioning. My approach is direct, collaborative, and focused on helping patients improve sleep, mood stability, concentration, and overall functioning. I work best with patients who want clear answers, thoughtful medication decisions, and consistent follow-up care. I am currently accepting new adult patients.
I help adults struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders develop practical, effective treatment plans that improve daily functioning.
I have experience treating patients across outpatient and acute psychiatric settings and focus on careful diagnosis, safe prescribing, and long-term treatment stability. I frequently coordinate care with therapists and other providers when appropriate. Treatment decisions, including controlled medications, are based on careful evaluation, prior treatment history, safety considerations, and treatment response. My practice emphasizes evidence-based prescribing, minimizing unnecessary medications, and building stable long-term treatment plans.
First session
The first visit is a 60-minute psychiatric evaluation where we review your symptoms, history, prior treatments, and goals to determine the most appropriate treatment plan. My goal is to provide a clear understanding of what may be happening and what your treatment options are. You can expect a practical discussion about diagnosis, medication options, risks, benefits, and next steps so you can make informed decisions. Follow-up visits typically last 20–30 minutes and focus on medication adjustments, symptom improvement, and maintaining treatment stability. Intake paperwork must be completed prior to the appointment so I can adequately prepare. Appointments may need to be rescheduled if required forms are incomplete.
Strengths
My strength is combining careful diagnostic evaluation with practical, goal-focused medication management. Patients often appreciate my straightforward communication style, attention to detail, and focus on measurable improvement rather than open-ended or unclear treatment plans. I emphasize evidence-based prescribing, minimizing unnecessary medications, and helping patients find stable, sustainable treatment strategies that support work, relationships, sleep, and daily functioning. I work best with patients who value clear communication, consistency, and an active role in their treatment.
Ideal clients
I work best with adults seeking evaluation and medication treatment for ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and stress-related conditions. Many of my patients are professionals, parents, or individuals working to improve focus, emotional stability, sleep, and overall functioning. This practice focuses primarily on psychiatric medication management and structured follow-up care rather than ongoing weekly therapy. I work best with patients who are motivated to actively participate in treatment and follow through with agreed plans.
