Hello. My name is Margali Sagaille, and I’m a Board-Certified Primary Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Hollywood, Florida, providing telehealth services. I am also credentialed as a board-certified Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and a certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. With over 30 years of nursing experience and 16 years in advanced practice, I take a holistic approach to mental health care, addressing the mind and body to promote overall wellness. I specialize in medication management for adults and older adults, offering personalized care tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
During our first virtual session, you can expect a thorough and compassionate evaluation of your mental health needs. We'll talk about your current symptoms, medical history, and any concerns you may have. During this initial evaluation, information will be gathered to establish care and commence a provider-patient relationship. This session takes longer than a follow-up or medication management visit. We’ll develop a treatment plan that may include therapy, medication, or other interventions tailored to your unique situation. I aim to ensure you feel heard, understood, and supported from the beginning.
My greatest strengths as a provider are my empathetic nature, strong listening and interviewing skills, and commitment to personalized care. I excel at creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and concerns. My ability to catch information that patients give indirectly helps me uncover underlying issues, allowing us to develop practical coping strategies and make meaningful life changes. My approach is collaborative, empowering clients to participate actively in their healing and growth.
I have experience in helping people dealing with issues like anxiety, depression, and mood disorders, as well as those facing stress due to life changes. My focus is on offering support to individuals who require flexibility in their mental health care and are looking for a holistic approach that combines therapy and medication. I find fulfillment in assisting adult clients who benefit from my services, those without strong family or social networks, providing them with the support and companionship they need to flourish.
I have used this method in primary care to improve medication compliance and to prepare clients for changing negative behaviors.
CBT is used to change negative behaviors. The client is taught how to identify negative behaviors or beliefs, learn new and or different coping skills, and how to manage behaviors.
Mindfulness is used to treat depression, anxiety, stress, and a multitude of other disorders by guiding the client to become aware of their physical senses, emotions, and thoughts. This therapy uses techniques like meditation, breathing exercises, and body scanning.
This therapy method involves education about disorders, symptoms, medications, treatments, coping skills, and other information to assist clients in actively participating and taking responsibility for their care.
Supportive therapy encourages clients to express themselves openly without fear of being judged. It involves active listening, providing reassurance, teaching coping skills, offering advice, and giving acknowledgment of the client's accomplishments.
