Stacey Negron
Hello, I’m Stacey Negron, MSN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and co-founder of SL Raymiri Wellness. I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for adolescents and adults through medication management and psychotherapy. My practice specializes in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, and substance use disorders, while recognizing the important connection between mental, physical, and emotional well-being. I also have a special interest in supporting women and men through life-stage transitions, including hormonal, metabolic, and aging-related changes that can impact mood, energy, sleep, cognition, and overall quality of life. My approach is collaborative, holistic, and patient-centered, creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to achieve lasting wellness.
First session
During our first session, we will take time to get to know one another and discuss what brings you to treatment. I will ask questions about your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, lifestyle, relationships, and treatment goals. This comprehensive assessment helps me develop a personalized plan tailored to your unique needs. Whether you are seeking medication management, psychotherapy, or both, my goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. Together, we will identify your goals, discuss treatment options, and develop a collaborative plan to help you move toward improved mental health, wellness, and overall quality of life. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Strengths
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to combine psychotherapy, medication management, and whole-person wellness into a comprehensive treatment approach. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with nursing experience across diverse healthcare settings, I understand that mental health is influenced by biological, psychological, social, and lifestyle factors. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual's needs rather than a one-size-fits-all model. I value building strong therapeutic relationships and helping clients feel empowered in their treatment decisions. I also have a special interest in supporting women and men through life transitions, including hormonal, metabolic, and aging-related changes that can affect mood, sleep, energy, focus, and overall well-being. By integrating evidence-based therapies with a holistic perspective, I help clients develop practical strategies that support both mental health and long-term wellness.
Ideal clients
I am best positioned to serve adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, stress, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and substance use disorders. I work with individuals seeking medication management, psychotherapy, or a combination of both as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based, creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard and empowered. I help clients develop effective coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, build resilience, and achieve meaningful personal goals. Together, we work toward lasting improvements in mental health, overall wellness, and quality of life.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, and behavioral patterns contributing to emotional distress. Together, we develop healthier coping strategies, improve problem-solving skills, and practice behavioral changes that support symptom reduction, emotional regulation, and improved daily functioning and overall well-being.
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore ambivalence, strengthen intrinsic motivation, and identify personal reasons for change. Through a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach, I support clients in setting meaningful goals, increasing confidence, and developing actionable steps toward positive behavioral changes that align with their values and priorities.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
I use EFT to help clients identify, understand, and express underlying emotions that influence thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. By fostering emotional awareness and processing core feelings, clients develop healthier communication patterns, strengthen interpersonal connections, improve emotional regulation, and create more secure, supportive relationships with others.
Interpersonal
I use Interpersonal Therapy to help clients understand how relationships, communication patterns, life transitions, grief, and interpersonal conflicts affect their mental health. Through collaborative exploration and skill-building, clients develop healthier ways of relating to others, improve communication, strengthen support systems, and reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety.
