Our first session will be rapport building with the client. We will begin to discover who the client to explore who we can begin to work together to make their plan to make the changes they want. My goal is to be a non-judgmental safe place when my clients can look at themselves.
My greatest strength is the empathy and compassion with my clients. We are on this journey together. My goal is to help clients be the best person they want to be by understanding how they can do things differently to be the change they want to see in themselves. I have worked in the area of addictions, veterans issues and mental health for the past 30 years.
I am best positioned to serve women of all ages. Especially women of color who may be experiencing challenges on all fronts with career, family, racism and finding where they feel most comfortable in society.

I look at the development stages as my base using motivational interviewing with a strength based model.
I meet the patient where they are and determine which treatment is the most appropriate ( CBT, trauma focused, christian focused, culturally sensitive, the stages of development, stages of grief, crisis intervention)

Love she can put things into perspective and allow me to see them from a different point of view. She also make it easy to open up to her seeing as though I don't open up much. Highly recommend.

Having a person who is warm, and compassionate makes it easier to be vulnerable and really tap into the things that bother you or hinder you from being the best version of yourself. Grateful to be able to tackle some of the issues that weigh me down.
