CBT helps clients identify, and restructure unhealthy thought patterns and behaviors. MI focuses on enhancing intrinsic motivation, and resolving ambivalence about change.

I utilize a combination of strength based approaches including motivational interviewing and CBT strategies. I graduated with a degree in counseling in 2010, and had a variety of positions in mental health. For the last 8 years, I have worked with adults with chronic and severe mental illness. I am currently an LPC with extensive experience working with adults living with severe and chronic mental illness.
