Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked with individuals and families for the past 16 years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with individuals, couples and families who are experiencing difficulties in their lives and relationships. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about challenges they are facing in their lives.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Together, we will identify your challenges and goals - where you want your life to be a month, six months, a year from now. Then, we'll identify options and strategies you can use to get there. You'll leave the session with a better understanding of what you're facing with an "actions I can take right now" approach. There will always be room for suggestions concerning our work together, including keeping each other accountable.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for several years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Client-centered therapy, also known as person-centered therapy or Rogerian therapy, is a non-directive form of talk therapy where you act as an equal partner in the therapy process while your therapist remains non-directive—they don't pass judgment on your feelings or offer suggestions or solutions
