(she/her)
I see myself as a partner, working alongside people to help them find their own path. I believe the therapeutic relationship is something we build together over time, starting from the very first conversation. I work with adults 18 and older who are dealing with a wide range of challenges. What I enjoy most about being a therapist is helping people reach their goals and learn how to handle life’s problems with confidence. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship and family issues. My approach is flexible and focused on building people up, highlighting strengths, and encouraging positive growth. With over 15 years of experience in the healthcare field, I’ve had the chance to use a variety of techniques and have learned firsthand what tends to work best for different people.
You can expect to walk away from your first session with at least one new coping skill you can start using right away.
I think one of my biggest strengths is creating a positive, supportive environment and encouraging small wins. Even a baby step is still a step in the right direction.
My ideal client is someone who recognizes that change can be challenging but understands that it is necessary for growth. They are self-aware, reflective, and willing to confront the reality of their current situation. While they may feel discomfort or uncertainty, they are motivated to take action and make meaningful changes to improve their life or business. They value guidance, strategies, and accountability that support their journey toward transformation.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, evidence-based form of psychotherapy that focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Its goal is to help people identify and change unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress.
Integrative
Integrative therapy refers to a psychotherapeutic approach that combines elements from different schools of therapy to tailor treatment to an individual’s unique needs, rather than strictly adhering to one methodology. The idea is to integrate the most effective techniques from multiple therapeutic models—such as cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, humanistic, and mindfulness-based approaches—into a cohesive plan.
Positive Psychology
Positive psychology is a branch of psychology that focuses on what makes life worth living. Instead of only treating mental illness, it studies human strengths, happiness, and well-being. The goal is to help people thrive, not just survive.
