Hi, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor located in MA and work both in person near Boston and Brookline and via telehealth. I received my master's degree from the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis and have since been working to provide empathetic, effective psychodynamic and psychoanalytic therapy to help find answers to and the motivation to address life's problems.
Finding the right therapist can feel hard. Building trust, mutual understanding and an empathetic relationship are the most integral parts of a successful therapeutic outcome. I invite you to contact me and schedule a consultation to see if it's a good fit.
A psychoanalytic approach is a means of working with and talking about our feelings; the good, the bad, and the ugly. Our feelings are one of the things that connect us most in this world. My role as a therapist is to help talk about these feelings in a safe, productive way in order to explore your life; where you have been, where you are, and where you might like to be in life.
A psychoanalytic approach examines the many aspects of who we are; our histories, our relationships, our hopes and wishes for the future and the things getting in the way. Talking about and working together to overcome feelings of anxiety, depression or any other troublesome experiences is the foundation of my work as a therapist.
