PMHNP, 6 years of experience
I am a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner in both Family Practice and Psychiatric and Mental Health, both completed at the University of Cincinnati. I have a diverse background and patient population, with experiences working in substance use treatment, private practice, inpatient, adult and juvenile correctional facilities, juvenile residential treatment, hospital medicine, and family practice. I enjoy working with all age ranges, children through older adult and have extensive experience with all ages. I am also currently working on my Functional Medicine Certification, as well as taking courses on men's health, women's health, hormone management, and peptides. It is important to me to look at the whole person and connect physical and mental health to improve overall well-being and quality of life.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. Provider discretion to re-book if there is a no-show to the initial appointment without prior contact attempt to cancel.
Working in a wide range of settings and with all ages I am used to adapting to all situations and tailoring communication styles to the individual. Having knowledge of both physical and mental health, I am able to understand more complex needs of my patients and can determine a complete treatment plan. My patients have described me as kind, compassionate, empathetic, caring, nondiscriminatory, non judgmental, and they feel that I treat them like a person.
I have experience working with all age ranges, children though older adult. I see all age ranges daily and enjoy the diversity in my day.
