Lisa Nilon Redding
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Behavioral Specialist in PA. After graduating in 2004 from Rosemont College, I began my work in Counseling and Behavioral Therapy. I worked for top companies servicing clients before deciding to go out alone. In addition to caring for clients through Grow, I have my private practice, Canopy Counseling Unlimited in Media, PA. I have extensive work with children, adolescents, individuals, families, blended families, and divorced parents. I see clients in the office Monday and Wednesday evenings and see clients in telehealth Tuesday and Thursday evenings. I also am available for telehealth in the mornings Monday through Thursday.
I have worked with individuals diagnosed with Anxiety, Autism (both child and adult- with a license in this area), Bipolar, Depression, Stress Management, and too many others to list.
The language that I speak is English. Outside of behavioral health care and in my free time, I enjoy building things, remodeling, mission work, snow skiing, traveling, spending time at the beach, and of course, time with my family.

Strengths

My license in counseling helps focus on feelings and beliefs while my license in behavioral therapy helps focus on behaviors and environments that impede growth. I use both in my approach. My background in mental health has given me experience in knowing that each person's needs are special and unique and that there are no "cookie-cutter" answers to solve problems. I will meet you where you are and work along with you on finding balance. My approach is to help individuals and families bring back and restore the balance that was once there and watch the growth that takes place!
