My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I recognize the importance of integrating patients' spiritual beliefs into their mental health care when appropriate. While I am not a certified Christian counselor, I am experienced in collaborating with patients who express a desire to incorporate their Christian faith into their treatment plans. In practice, I respect and acknowledge the role that faith can play in a patient's mental well-being. For patients who identify as Christian and wish to include their beliefs in therapy, I work to create a supportive environment where they can explore how their faith intersects with their mental health. This might involve discussing how spiritual practices, such as prayer or meditation, can be integrated into their coping strategies or how biblical principles can provide comfort and guidance during challenging times. When appropriate, I also collaborate with pastoral counselors or refer patients to certified Christian counselors who can provide more specialized spiritual guidance. This ensures a comprehensive approach that respects the patient's faith while addressing their mental health needs. Overall, my experience with incorporating Christian counseling elements into treatment is centered on respecting each patient's unique belief system and using it as a resource to support their journey toward mental wellness.
