Hello there! My name is Shaun Dooley and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I received my Masters from the Palm Beach Atlantic University and have been working in the field for over 12 years. I support individuals in navigating depression, anxiety and life stressors, helping them find hope and rediscover their strength along the way.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

As a Christian and former Youth Pastor, I have supported many individuals in need, drawing from the Bible for guidance on their path of healing.
With CBT, I help individuals recognize and challenge negative thoughts and beliefs that contribute to stress, anxiety and depression.
Using ERP, I've worked with individuals struggling with OCD to help confront fears in a gradual, controlled manner in order to help break the cycle of obsessive thinking and compulsive behaviors.
I use motivational interviewing to help clients explore their uncertainty about change, build self-motivation and work collaboratively to achieve their goals by fostering empathy and supporting self-efficacy.
