New to Grow
I’m a warm, collaborative Marriage & Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families feel grounded, understood, and supported. Over the past nine years, I’ve worked across Connecticut’s community mental health system, including adult outpatient services, jail diversion programs, child and family services, extended day treatment, adolescent and adult substance use treatment, intensive in‑home family therapy, and extensive clinical work with service members, Veterans, and first responders. My therapeutic style is integrative and trauma‑informed, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, attachment‑based models, and somatic awareness practices. I help clients reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and build secure, meaningful relationships with themselves and others. I believe healing happens within compassionate, attuned relationships. Clients often share that they feel genuinely seen, supported, and empowered in our work together. Whether you’re navigating trauma, relationship challenges, or life transitions, I offer a safe, steady space for meaningful change.
In our first session, clients can expect a warm, grounded space where they feel safe, heard, and understood. We’ll slow down, explore what’s bringing them in, and begin identifying the patterns, emotions, and protective parts that shape their experiences. I help clients connect with their needs, clarify their goals, and start building the foundation for secure, attuned therapeutic work. Most clients leave the first session feeling more regulated, supported, and hopeful about the healing process.
My approach stands out because I prioritize safety, attunement, and vulnerability as the foundation for healing. As a trauma‑informed LMFT, I help individuals, couples, and families strengthen emotional bonds, repair relational injuries, and feel more grounded in themselves. I integrate EFT, IFS, the Gottman Method, attachment‑based therapy, and somatic practices to support nervous‑system regulation and deeper connection. Clients often describe my style as warm, steady, and deeply attuned — a space where they feel seen, supported, and empowered to do meaningful healing work.
My ideal client is someone who wants to deepen their insight, strengthen emotional connection, and build more authentic, harmonious relationships with themselves and others. They’re open to exploring their patterns, willing to be gently challenged, and ready to engage in meaningful therapeutic work. This client values safety and vulnerability as essential parts of healing and is motivated to understand their internal world, repair relational injuries, and create lasting change.
In our work together, EFT helps you slow down and understand what’s happening underneath your reactions — the emotions, needs, and protective parts that often go unseen. We explore the moments where you feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or shut down, and gently uncover the deeper feelings driving those patterns. EFT gives you a clearer picture of your emotional cycles so you can respond from a place of authenticity rather than reactivity. You’ll learn how to express your needs more openly, build trust with yourself and others, and create safer, more connected relationships. Throughout the process, I move at your pace, helping you stay regulated and grounded as you explore vulnerability, strengthen attachment, and build a more secure and compassionate relationship with yourself.
I use the Gottman Method to help you understand the patterns that shape your communication, connection, and conflict. Together, we identify what strengthens your relationship and what creates distance. You’ll learn practical tools to express needs, repair misunderstandings, and build trust. The focus is on creating a relationship where you feel heard, supported, and able to navigate challenges with more confidence and connection.
IFS helps you get to know the different “parts” of yourself — the protective parts, the overwhelmed parts, and the parts longing for connection. In our work, you’ll learn to approach these parts with compassion rather than judgment. This process helps you understand why certain reactions show up and how to create more internal harmony. Over time, you’ll feel more grounded, regulated, and connected to your core Self.
Somatic work helps you tune into your body’s signals so you can understand what your nervous system needs to feel safe and regulated. We’ll explore grounding, breathwork, and gentle awareness practices that help you stay present during emotional moments. This supports deeper healing, especially when trauma or stress shows up physically. Clients often feel more centered, calm, and connected to themselves through this work
ACT helps you notice your thoughts and emotions without getting stuck in them. Together, we explore what matters most to you and build skills that support living in alignment with your values. You’ll learn how to make space for difficult feelings while still moving toward the life and relationships you want. ACT supports flexibility, resilience, and a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
