I am a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of experience in direct patient care. I have strong clinical skills enhanced by a natural ability to build rapport with patients and families. I follow evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience and patient values. I believe in treating the person as a whole and am passionate about helping my patients achieve optimal mental and physical health.
I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows you to express your emotions freely. Our first session will include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis. We will then create a unique treatment plan that will work best for you.
I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments for medication management and talk therapy. While working with me, you will have a safe place free of criticism or judgment. I am compassionate and understanding. We will collaborate together to find the treatment that best works for you.
I work with ages 13 and older to provide medication management and other alternative therapies to treat various mental health issues.

First time appointment with Dr. Nina and she was very understanding and open minded about my situation, both short term and long term issues. She listened, understood and gave professional feedback. I enjoyed our session and came out of it more informed and relieved to have some sort of plan/answers.

It's taken me a really long time to find a good match for me and Dr Nina is perfect. She is kind, warm, empathetic, funny, comforting, gentle, the list could go on. Dr Nina actually hears what you're saying and tailors your treatment plan to you. She is super responsive and makes you feel welcome and in a safe space.
