Person-centered (Rogerian)
A person-centered approach puts the individual at the heart of decisions about their own care, support, or therapy, focusing on their goals, needs, strengths, and preferences, not just their condition. It's a collaborative partnership where professionals work with the person (and their family/carers) to tailor support, ensuring dignity, respect, and empowerment, allowing them to lead and make informed choices about their life and health outcomes.
