Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I begin with an introductory session where you’ll have the space to share your story, who you are, and what you hope to achieve in therapy. It’s important to me that you feel respected, supported, and truly heard throughout our work together. We’ll explore your goals collaboratively and create a plan tailored to your needs. From there, our ongoing sessions will focus on making those goals a reality through thoughtful, consistent work Each person’s story is unique, and I believe in offering care that is tailored to honor your individuality. As we work together, we’ll focus on your mental health journey, helping you navigate healing and growth. I offer a warm, supportive, and therapeutic environment, where you can feel safe, comfortable, and open as we explore your experiences. Life’s journey is filled with ups, downs, and unexpected turns, and while I believe in everyone’s capacity to heal, I also understand that we all need support to find our way. I’m here to guide you through the challenges, and I have full confidence in your ability to overcome them.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the genuine connection I build with clients, grounded in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and over 24 years of clinical experience. I take time to understand each person’s unique story and tailor the work to meet their individual needs. My methods integrate evidence based practices such as cognitive behavioral techniques, trauma informed care, and strength based approaches while also drawing from my personal and professional insight. Clients often share that they feel seen, heard, and supported in ways they haven't before. I create a safe and nonjudgmental space where people can show up as they are and begin the process of healing. Together, we move beyond just symptom relief we work toward deeper self-understanding, emotional balance, and lasting change.
