Hi! I'm an LPCC-S and have been in private practice since 2017. Whether you are looking to explore your individual journey, strengthen a relationship, or navigate the messiness that life's greatest challenges can bring, I would be honored to accompany you on your journey. I bring a unique blend of experiences that I think will help you to define and meet your goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with variety of populations, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a powerful approach that focuses on our thoughts as the root cause of feelings and behaviors. Unlike traditional therapies, CBT is brief and time-limited, often yielding quick results. It's highly engaging, emphasizes personal responsibility, and helps individuals understand that changing their thought processes can lead to positive outcomes. In my work as a counselor, CBT has been a valuable tool for clients struggling with depression or trauma related to relationships or family. 😊

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is helpful with individuals who experience intense emotions. It's particularly effective for conditions like borderline personality disorder, self-harm, suicidal behavior, PTSD, substance use disorder, eating disorders, depression, and anxiety. DBT fosters healthier coping mechanisms, reduces self-harm, improves emotional regulation, and enhances overall quality of life and relationships. 😊

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy helps clients process traumatic memories in a unique way—through eye movements or rhythmic tapping. By reprocessing distressing memories, EMDR aims to reduce symptoms like nightmares, flashbacks, and intense emotional reactions associated with post-traumatic stress. It offers rapid results, minimal talking, and can even change negative thinking patterns.
