I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. I received my master's degree in mental health counseling from Kutztown University and have been working in the mental health field for more than 15 years. My background includes working in population and community mental health with individuals with severe mental illness, individuals who have sustained brain injuries, as well as several years in private practice working extensively with young adults and college students.
In our first session together, we will discuss what the counseling experience looks like, gather information and work together to develop a plan to address your concerns.
I strive to truly understand a person, the impact of their lived experiences and the depth of their strengths to empower and motivate them to resolve their internal struggles.
I enjoy working with a variety of individuals including young adults, college students, working professionals, diverse populations, LGBTQ+, stay at home parents/caregivers and women struggling in relationships. I can work with you to address concerns related to depression, anxiety, self-esteem, confidence in the work setting, work-life balance and creating fulfilling relationships with others. I also have experience treating ADHD and working with family members/parents of individuals with severe mental illness
I use a whole person approach to help you identify your strengths and any barriers to reaching your goals.
